This day's events took place nearly a month before the actual start of the 644-day Berkeley community tree-sit. The first recording was a morning "Circle of the Oaks" ceremony at the oak grove, located on the edge of the University of California, Berkeley campus. . The second recording of the rally took place later that day on Sproul Plaza of the U.C. Berkeley campus (near Telegraph Ave and Bancroft Way).
