“Save the Oaks at the Stadium Day” was held November, 9, 2006 at 10 a.m. in the oak woodland just west of Memorial Stadium and green ribbons were tied around the Oak trees that UC Berkeley plans to cut down. This event was followed by a “Save the Oaks” demonstration at Sproul Plaza that concluded with a march to chancellor Birgeneau's office at California Hall to deliver petitions.
The 35 minute long DVD of the day's events was broadcast on Berkeley Cable Access.
