Walk, Talk, Buck the Fence"
What's at stake in the Ecology of Berkeley's
Strawberry Canyon
Canyon, Creeks and Campus Laboratory Research

This was the sixth in a series of Berkeley academic walks focused on the adverse impacts to the ecology of Strawberry Canyon from both U.C. Berkeley and the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory’s developments/expansion and fences.

These walks were also organized to bring about greater awareness to the Berkeley Memorial Stadium Oak Grove tree-sit located on the UC campus (2006-2008). All the academic walks began at the Oak Grove and were facilitated by U. C. Berkeley Professor Ignacio Chapela and often included a special guest.
